Fallen Petals...

... from the Kowhai Tree.

Twelve members of the walking group travelled to Shortcut Road, and walked from there to the Luggate Boulders.  Most of the walkers walked 10 k's, which is quite a distance.  (14K steps).  Our eldest member turned 89 today, so we had a celebratory cuppa at a local cafe after the walk.  Eighteen of us were there for the celebration.  The extra is the same photo but landscape as opposed to portrait.  The fallen leaves add lovely colour to the landscape.

I joined Piano Lady and The Tuner for a cuppa and scone for morning tea, always nice to catch up with them.  +8C to +17C.
