Rusty Hills

The peak foliage time is passing, and the hills are starting to "rust out", as I say.  These are the Burnt Meadow Mountains quite close to my house.  This is where Buster Black Bear and his kin live. They'll be going to den soon. Such a lovely time of year.  Today our temperatures may be close to 80F!  We can't get used to it though because by Thursday we will be down to more normal temperatures.  No big storms in sight so John can finish cutting things back this week.  The wheel is turning...
