Venison anyone?

Deer are one of the most beautiful of animals, but even Bambi can become an nuisance in an urban setting. Victoria has so many citified deer that a call has gone out for a cull, much to the horror of some. It takes an eight-foot fence to keep these lonf-legged lovelies from eating anything a gardner plants. Tulips, roses and delphinium are their favourites, but occasionally, they will deign to eat veggies and berries. Collisions with cars are frequent, too, and are potentially fatal to both parties. It really is a problem.
