Cromer

No rain today but no sun either.  However it still feels pretty mild.

We headed to Cromer.  Pallaver with car park ticket machine.  It wouldn't accept Mr's or my credit or debit cards and when Mr rang the telephone number the sign recommended nobody answered.  I changed a note at a nearby cafe.  Understandably they weren't keen to do so as they needed change for customers and didn't want drivers trooping in for car park change but kindly did.  The machine would not accept the coins either.  

Mr parked the car in a side street and I swapped back the change for the £10 note at the cafe.

We walked down the white stairs to the esplanade.  Mr wanted to check out the gallery, Cromer Artspace on the prom.  It was small and had a limited and varied display of paintings and sculptures.

Of course we visited the pier.

We'd walked for at least a couple of hours.  The hound was exhausted and didn't want to get out of the car for at least a quarter of an hour.

A shorter walk in the afternoon along the prom and to the boating lake. 

Forget to bring/buy eggs so Mr nipped out to buy some.  Dinner mushroom and cheese omelette with broccoli and home made sweet potato oven chips. 

We should all sleep well tonight.
