Mono Monday 561 :: MM561 :: Motion
My extra is more in keeping with today's theme of motion and with my own layered/blurry images.
We made an unplanned visit to Saltburn-by-the-Sea today half hoping to see either an aircraft carrier or a pod of dolphins out at sea. Both have had sightings over the past few days.
We didn't spy either but there were clues the aircraft carrier may have been just beyond the horizon. I checked the MarineTraffic app without success but looking at Ftightradar24 a RAF radar plane was continuously circling an area a mile or so off the coast. Also a Jaguar fighter plane flew over us and out to sea before turning back. My main Blip shows dog walkers on the beach watching it fly over. In the background is a coastguard ship keeping watch on us all.
It seems the 'Old Service' doesn't like to show its location but the RAF are happy to show where they are. The local base in Leeming has been posting on social media photos of the helicopters etc involved with the exercise this week. I guess this is more to do with Manoeuvres than Motion.
In extras is my AvgCamPro image in mono of an area inside a local art gallery. It appears this area may sometimes be used as a coffee shop. I liked how the window at the end reflected on the floor. lots of goodies inside by local artist.
I nearly forgot to mention, we enjoyed some lovely chips down by the seafront.
