Family Fun Down On The Farm

We spent a large part of the day at Clerkenhill Adventure Farm about 10 minutes drive from where we are staying. The enterprising farmer has created a very entertaining family day out with indoor and outdoor play areas, a nine hole miniature golf course, an adventure trail around the farm fields and woods, a small area for petting the farm animals and, most unusually, an 18 hole frisbee golf course with ‘holes’ ranging from 20 to 90 metres in length.

We spent a good 4 hours there and we all had fun. The frisbee golf was particularly challenging in the high winds and meant we spent a lot of time looking for wayward frisbees in trees, ditches and adjacent fields!

As you can see, children of all ages had fun though Kate (top left) realised too late that the tubular slide was made for someone slightly smaller!
