A New Vista. Lumix M4/3 20mm

My new work shift begins at 08:00.  I arise at around 05:30, and amble out the door at about 07:00, allowing a full hour to deal with the vagaries of Boston's terrible traffic.  I hate rushing and being late...  The more direct route is to cut through the suburbs, but I have found that all the early delivery trucks are blocking up the streets.  The alternative is to take the freeway which cuts east and then north from home, two sides of a triangle.  It's longer, but there's less traffic, and it's pretty smooth sailing - and better for the Honda than stop-start.  The trip took about twenty five minutes today, allowing me time to go up on the top deck of the parking garage and snap this view.  It's the local town hall just across the square.  The light was lovely on a crisp Fall morning.  And there was plenty of time to get a cup of coffee in the staff room, head to the department, turn on all the lights, fire up the machines, chat with colleagues - and wait for the first patient to show up.  All-in-all, it's quite civilized.
