Ullapool

Drove up from Gourock in the rain and mist. Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed the drive - especially through Glencoe. The mist whirling round the mountains and every tone of green imaginable.
As I approached the end of Loch Broom, this enormous cruise liner was parked in the bay called The World. Fascinating though it was, it looked ridiculous in the small and beautiful bay. You can see here a skiff out practising for the world skiff championships held from 8th July in Loch Broom.
This is the view from the flat - shared with my two very good Border pals who share a love for north Scotland.
