Dredger Warp

A morning with the family  who had descended on us partly due to the promise of bacon rolls. And a filthy day forecast outside, except that never really happened.
Later I went over to the boatyard with MrB and checked the halyards and other lines aloft as the harbour secretary had sent round a missive complaining about slack goings on, especially in light of the high winds that were forecast. In the event, high winds never really happened.
What else? Big news of the week was that Yahya Sinwar, the "mastermind" behind the October 7th attacks a year ago, was killed in what may have been a chance encounter with IDF troops. Looking out at the wasteland from the building where he died, you’d have to wonder what he thought of the way things had gone.
