Organizational Anxiety

Busy Monday. I’ve been struggling at work a bit, our recent organizational change has left me with several disjointed responsibilities and some unclear delivery timelines. It doesn’t help that I don’t really enjoy any of these tasks.
Other than that I ran kids around to their respective schools classes as everyone is still running behind from the time change after the wedding trip. Hopefully I can have them up on time for the bus tomorrow.

I’ve reached full anxiety over the election polling and I’m trying to come to grips with the idea that the orange guy might be our next president. It was nice distraction to receive a card wishing us well with the wedding from friends in Berlin today.

This is kind of a downer of an entry I guess. I don’t really understand my compatriots, it seems like they prefer easy answers and empty promises to a critical engagement with the problems we are facing.
