Removing the signs of autumn?
Hazelh commented on an earlier blip of mine that she foresaw sweeping up of leaves and composting.
Dick (pictured) hates the effect of the leaves on the lawns. Here he is doing his best to clear then away into the borders.
A lot of apples fell during the storm, so I went out and filled a bucket. I still have stewed apple in the freezer from last year, but it is a shame to waste them.
This morning I put away the thermals that were not used in Scotland. I started to tidy up the wool stash and found a large plastic box in the loft that will be good for wool storage. It has been emptied and washed.
I cracked on with the little jacket I am knitting.
Margret called and we had a civilised coffee in the kitchen.
After lunch I visited Jenny and Dennis to tell them about my Scottish holiday. Jenny remembered visiting Gairloch and walking in the area.
I have cooked a casserole with mince, onion and various other delicious ingredients. It should be ready soon.
