All about the light. Mullion Cove. 4:00pm.
After a wet beginning to the morning, the sky began to clear at 10.30 am.
Another very mild and sunny day followed.
Breakfast finished we took ourselves off down to Lizard Point, leaving our car in the National Trust Car Park by Lizard lighthouse.
The walk along the SW cliff path there still fills me with delight although at the moment I cannot walk as far.
I made it down the steep footpath which ends near Bumble Rock. We stayed there for ages just watching the surf breaking over outcrops like soap suds, and the shining shining tracks of light reaching the horizon.
A very special place for us.
It wouldn’t have been complete without a visit to the Most Southerly Café in the British Isles!
Another treat. Sitting outside in the sunshine for ages.
On our way back here to our rented holiday bungalow, we took a detour to park up on the cliff by the Mullion Cove Hotel, to make the most of the rest of the afternoon. Here’s a link if you would like to take look.

I took the photo from the cliff path which runs alongside the hotel.
Tomorrow we may have mistiness, according to the weather forecast. But each day this week, the mornings have cleared to become sunny and mild.
I’ve been pleased to have the exercise so far, with some limitations due to my hip, as making sure I do keep moving ( with some limitations) will help before I go into hospital on November 1st when we get home.
In the meantime, I am behind with catching up on your blips.
Thankyou for commenting on mine.
