Crummock
Living just out side the Lake District you get to know places where you want to return to. This is one of those places. There was more water, hardly surprising after all the rain we have had, which covered some of the shoreline stones, that would normally be visible behind me. This fence is photogenic. Sometimes I have taken the 'fence' pointing to the far bank.
Today's weather promised early sunshine. Well it tried. Later in the day the sun did shine. The coast had the better weather.
Apart from taking usual LD photos I needed to work on long exposures without using filters (which I need bring with me.) I took several long exposures using aperture and manual settings. I set the time between 0.5 to 2 seconds and this is the chosen effort. There was a breeze, but with these times, the water was smoothed out. What you can't hear is the small waves making nice lapping sounds and bird song. Very pleasant.
