Devils Bridge

I think we have found the best campsite in Wales, possibly UK.
We booked it simply to visit Devils Bridge and the site is a few minutes walk away. The site is beautiful with benches and statues, a fabulous dog walk through the woods, large pitches and the facilities are like being in a hotel.
We got to site had lunch and headed off to do the waterfall trail.
There was a warning about how difficult the walk is and it was.
The bridges built one on top of the other were interesting to see, the first built in 12th century by monks, the second built in 1753 and the last one in 1901. The walk involved going down Jacob’s ladder, 100 very rough steps, and then across an iron bridge and steps back up to the village. Scary and at one point Hetty refused to carry on and hubby carried her down.
Brilliant and hard and scary so I rewarded myself with an ice cream at the end.
We got back to the camper and it was so warm we sat outside and read for a hour.
