Air

As light travels from air into the glass, its speed changes, causing it to bend—a phenomenon known as refraction. This bending of light, coupled with the colouring effects from metallic salts, gives rise to the mesmerizing play of light and colour in stained glass.

Almost late to my own challenge! Just back from Limerick but more about that tomorrow as I am wrecked! This was hard wasn't it - and thank you to all those who've entered this week's TT challenge on Air.  Any way this is a tiny fragment of a massive stained glass window, one of the many encountered somewhere in County Limerick and it has something to do with air - see quote. It's science. I'll catch up tomorrow. as a large bath now beckons!
