To the Rambert Hut …

… with the cat sitters (extra) today. Phew, I suffered! 2 weeks of laryngitis then a week at sea level and the sitters are super fit! The altitude of the hut is 2580m and we had atmospheric weather and ancient autumnal larch trees (extra) but not the huge views we were hoping for. Only 2 bouquetin up near the hut but at least they were there for our American friends. Now we just had a last meal together and they have an early train tomorrow morning. The cats have really bonded with them, especially Preston so they will miss them!
