Folkestone Harbour

My symptoms continued to develop overnight. Thick head and lethargy today. We were supposed to visit our friends in Waltham Abbey today. Regrettably I did the feel well enough and it would not have been a good idea to see them when I don’t know what it is.

It seems that many of you have suffered some effects from the recent jabs, having not had any side effects from previous doses. Coincidence? I heard there are plenty of nasty bugs around at the moment. Thank you for your good wishes for a speedy recovery.

We’ve rearranged for next month and I dare say all the goodies readied for today will be eaten or frozen until our next visit.

It was a beautiful day too so Susan took the invalid for a walk at Folkestone from the Warren down to Sunny Sands beach and out on the harbour arm and back. I slept all the way home.

I was trying to identify the bud thing from Sunday. I think is is from the Tulip Poplar tree.
