Zebra grass

A beautiful morning after a few dark days. The zebra grass has sent up some flowers for the first time ever. I thought it looked a good composition with the grass, the Boston ivy and cosmos growing companionably together.

Lovey to be out in Mote Park where sunshine was lighting up the turning leaves. It clouded up a little in the afternoon. I had an allotment committee meeting this afternoon.

Seems I’ve come down with a cold or something. I had a Covid and flu jab on Saturday. I don’t usually react to them but I am wondering if it’s that or being in a crowded room waiting for the jabs or sitting in Costa on Friday afternoon. Who knows?
