Basin bob

An enjoyable and beautiful morning run - lockdown route; then cycle to town in time for Bianca's art class. Gouache today, which is not my favourite medium as I usually end up with a muddy puddle,  however,  my crocodile went better than previous attempts and the colours blended better.  

Lunch at Sophie's with B where we caught up on news and shared a laugh together. 

Then I met up with the lovely M for a swim at the Basin.  I had not properly dried my wet shoes so M lent me hers - good thing as the water is cooling down. 13 degrees today. We sat on the sea wall for a lovely post Bob coffee and chat, determined to make the most of the sunshine and made plans for our next swim (hopefully Friday sunrise) and also plans for a January night out.

This evening at MAC each of us took a paper bag with a hidden object inside. We drew lots to choose our subject to draw. Mine was a potted fern, which I used watercolour to paint. We all had great fun and some good artwork was produced.  

Another lovely and busy day.
