Fallen

A full on busy day ... and it's been a busy week.

The contractors came round to look at Ruth's kitchen and gave us a date for work to start.   It's suddenly less than two weeks away.  We're pinching ourselves, it's over two years since we started the application process.  They seem really good.  Clearly experienced, good communicators and sensitive to Ruth's needs.  Fingers crossed all goes well.   It does mean that my plans for a nice quiet month as the work season ends are shattered.  Ruth has to move out while the work is done, we'll probably split the time between my place in Wales and my mum's in London.   A lot of miles :-/

 I left Ruth with a support worker after lunch and was home just after six.  Assorted urgent admin things have rather wound me up this evening but I did manage a couple of hours at community pottery session this evening, starting something different.

Very tired tonight.   Work tomorrow.
