Golden Cow

You can blame all this rain and thunderstorms on me! I went to the opticians to collect my prescription sunglasses today, and I'd already told them last Friday when I ordered them it would be raining by Tuesday - so as predicted it was.

I thought I would be stuck at home all day but by lunchtime it had stopped. As I'd not really been out of the house much for the last couple of days I decided to disappear for a couple of hours this afternoon.

I ended up at Biddulph Grange Gardens which isn't that far from my home. It was quite humid and I really felt for the gardeners as they worked.

This cow statue is part of the Chinese garden. It's really quite striking and very colourful.
