"A flu state".

Not quite a flu state, but I've not been too well since late last week. Depression, heartburn, back ache, sore throats, sneezing, coughing, headaches. Probably all linked together.

Feeling a lack of energy to do stuff isn't easy to deal with. The kids are here this week and next and although they are very good and get on with stuff by themselves, it doesn't stop me feeling bad for not being more of a parent. All I've done really has been to cook their lunch and to sometimes wake them up in the morning.

This morning I was supposed to go shopping, but I woke up at 4am not feeling brilliant. I'll go tomorrow morning instead, as this afternoon I'm starting to feel myself again.

As for the photo, L52, is a homeopathic remedy. My late MIL swore by homeopathy and in the past it has worked for me. Notably when I had a bit of a breakdown nearly 20 years ago. I saw a homeopathic Doctor for a year on her recommendation.

Back in August I got really bad sunstroke on the trip down to SW France, with flu-like symptoms the following day. Mainly a massive headache for about 3 days. After trying an online Doctor, in the end the local pharmacy gave my wife a box of L52. It worked! After a day or so I was feeling better.
So she bought some more, for my current episode.
