#PizzaFriday

As opposed to #PizzaThursday, I did the weeks shopping a day late this week. As the kids are off, this week's shopping bill was a bit higher, but less high than I was expecting. No luxury of the kids eating at their school canteens. Suddenly we need more food.
So pizza for lunch.

When I arrived back home, I had a message from my Dutch friend, who lives in our village. She speaks English like a native, so occasionally we have coffee mornings for a chat. She was also the one that got me into teaching English.
Anyway, she is also a friend of my SIL, the wife of my elder BIL who I don't get on with. My SIL has a drink problem sadly, we think, caused by BIL and his rather bad and toxic attitude.
So my Dutch friend tells me that she saw my SIL recently, who expressed an interest in coming on dog walks with me, so she can improve her English. But apparently my BIL is against the idea.

Ah well... I already knew I was the cuckoo in the family, nice to be reminded of it...
