Christmas Cake

I spent some of the morning preparing and baking my Christmas cake. I have not made one for a couple of years, but decided I would use a recipe form Becky Excell’s gluten free Christmas cookery book rather than adapting a normal recipe, which often does not work so well.
 
The cake was easy to make, once the tin had been prepared and the ingredients weighed out. It took four hours to bake at 120 degrees Celsius; it is still cooling in the tin. I took various pictures during the process of making it and some of these are today’s picture.
 
The temperature at noon today was fourteen degrees Celsius.
