Arbousiers

I noticed today that the arbousiers have both fruit on them and flowers (centre and right). The flowers are normally only seen in spring. Maybe there will be a second crop of the fruit.
These days, more and more plants seem to be confused as to which season it is!
For the horticulturally minded, Arbutus unedo, the strawberry tree is an evergreen shrub, quite plentiful round here. They are sometimes used for making jam, but are not normally eaten fresh. (They taste horrible as I tried one! )
