Street Art in Oban
Including the direction to Vancouver (I choose Canada for two blippers J and J). When looking online the only information I can find about the work mentions spelling mistakes.
Another ferry journey to Oban, not quite as rough as last week, uncomfortable all the same. I had time to follow up a few shops on some approaches made last week for raffles and tombolas, people are very pleasant. Afterwards we headed up to the hospital, just for a hearing test, and now a hearing aid will be ordered for both of us. The audiologist suggested it is better to start wearing this when the issue isn’t too bad, the brain adapts, it becomes harder if left too long. And to wear it all of the time. We both have an issue with television and when in a group of people, apparently the hearing aid can adapt. We will see.
When in Oban we tend to stock up on fresh fish, the people who own the fish place are always pleasant and I was given hints on how to make Cullen Skink, this will be a first, later next week perhaps. Not so much these days, at one time the yellow carrier bag from the fish shop would be seen with any number of passengers on the ferry, suspect the cost of buying fresh fish is having an effect.
The return journey was good, in the Clansman, a larger vessel with food, we had a macaroni cheese and chips between us, a late lunch. A mild pleasant day, this is becoming a habit, although as always it is good to arrive home to be greeted by four pusscats.
