Josie and the Leaves

Today's the day ....................... for an autumn walk

Last few days of the school half-term holiday and the girls are with us for a couple of them.

We went out for a long walk this afternoon which was very pleasant in the mild weather.  There were lots of leaves on the ground that presumably had been blown off in the recent high winds - and Josie had a great time chucking them about and showering anyone who got in the way.  And all the horses were looking for attention from anyone who would come close enough for a pat on the nose (see extra).

Tessa and Josie would happily have stayed there for much longer but we've promised that we'll return tomorrow .....................!
