All cached out

We did all the Cheshire Cat labs and bonuses today.  There were 120 adventure lab geocaches with 5 stages in each and 2 bonus caches of traditional type ie with a container. Therefore, it results in 602 finds which is highly desirable if you are a numbers cacher - I'm not!
The labs were in the form of a quiz questions to be able to log them but they were multiple choice answers so you could never not get the answer.
Main photo is clearly a screenshot but the extras are from the walks.
We parked on the Ranger Hut car park, logged a few from there then  went for a walk (there is no need to walk apart from the bonus caches but we like a walk when we are caching and we don't cache for numbers but for the walk as well - so this was something different for us. A lot of work has gone into making this series and if it had been nearer home we'd have split it up to make a few nice walks from it but it was a fair drive so we did it in one. That makes it less enjoyable for us but as it was a one off for us, we were not too disgruntled with it!
Much of the time we didn't even read the questions as the subject was something we hadn't a clue about, so we just jabbed a guess and usually it was wrong and was only correct on the last try!
We adjourned to the pub across from where we parked after our first walk and a bit of car logging. The carvery looked great but we were only wanting brews. The woman kept bringing me the wrong drink - not once, but several times! She also came with sprinkles of chocolate to put on the latte which she had brought instead of my cappuccino; seeming to think it would make the latte into a cappuccino! When I turned the offer down, she brought me a hot chocolate LOL. There was no wifi available. They told me just to log onto the O2 wifi, but it didn't come up on the list and the "guest wifi" needed a sky membership!
We had another bit of a walk to the other bonus cache. The walks were  sort of nice, but not - you can't concentrate on the walk or conversation with your pals for the logging - double chin and neck crick = headache. I wouldn't do another one. Not like that anyway. It was something different though and I'm glad we did it because you don't know till you try.
The bonuses were nice (clever) caches. We might have enjoyed it more if we'd taken more time over it but it took a while as it was. Anyway, it's done and dusted and we can look forward to something less intense now!
