Daily "gifts" from the cat
We learnt from our neighbours last night that Leo is a regular visitor to their gardens often spending considerable time there.
( Delighted to report that the neighbours who met each other for the first time, clicked and within minutes they were chatting away like old friends. I think it helped they were all Scots. )
Do other cat owners find their cat brings in trophies i.e. mice and puts them, half eaten, more or less in an identical spot? Yes I know it's a "gift`' and cats feel safe and secure bringing it back to their own territory to share with their owner. But it's a gift I could do without, especially when he chooses to eat the whole animal and just leaves the intestines.
Leo does. And it’s on this rug. Occasionally I miss them, and I often walk around barefoot in the house and suddenly find something furry squelch under my toes.
