A day wasted really, because it took two return journeys from Akbuk to Didim, (20km each way), initially at 8.45am and then again at 13.30 (come back later) and approximately four hours (wait over there) at the Government Tarim (Agricultural) office, plus a visit to a local vet for the mandatory worming tablets - all in order to get the official papers completed and stamped that we need for Rufus and Babe to leave Turkey.  Still, we DID get them eventually, and so serious packing sorting cleaning planning and drinking beer filled the rest of the day.  Oh, and baking a pile of cheese, mushroom and broccoli pasties for snacks along the way, using up food in the fridge rather than throwing it out!   

 All being well, we plan to depart around 6pm tomorrow - with plenty of snacks!!

Oblivious to my stress, Momma Cat played Hide and Seek with Rufus.
