Grey wagtail

We felt ourselves lucky to have seen and identified a grey wagtail at a great distance a couple of weeks ago.

Over the last week, we have seen them several times in our own garden - today being the first time I was able to grab a camera.  As with yesterday's photo, it's taken through a less than perfectly clean window.

It's nice to know we must be doing something right, to attract new species.

After that excitement, we went into Wexford and chose wallpaper for a feature wall in our bedroom.  And I stayed on to go to sewing group - finding myself alone once again - a lovely peaceful unwinding time.
