Large equipment

W went off to the gardening group this morning.  I opted out - I seem to have quite a lot of "irons in the fire" and gardening group is just one too many at present.  Instead, I folded and ironed the clean washing.

Mid-morning, I got a phone call from the contractors dealing with trees around the electricity wires - they brought a very large circular saw up the lane the other side of the hedge, and also used this saw on the end of a very long pole.  I couldn't get a decent photo of the large circular saw.

After lunch, we popped into New Ross to get new curtain poles for our bedroom, which is about to be painted.  And then I did some flute practice.

In the evening, I did some sewing, whilst we watched some TV - we're enjoying working our way through the George Gently series, which were recently added to Netflix.  Some quite deep and dark themes, but no gore.
