A right royal pain in the eye

Last nights storm rumbled on through the night, and boomed into life again at 5am. Driving rain, volume increasing as it powered down, lightning flashing and thunder. Loved listening and seeing the bedroom light up, even though it was only 5am.

Slept in til 7am then quick turnaround and off to catch the bus for another trip to the QMC. Got absolutely drenched as I changed buses at canning circus.

Not busy at the eye unit, and I was up having blood tests on level b by 10.30. Need to have a chest X-ray too.

Back home on the bus and in by noon. Eye was quite painful then and glad to get some drops in it.

Felt really tired this afternoon and had quite a headache too.

Another torrential downpour and hailstones like marbles!

Had tea and watched the new Prince of Cambridge leave hospital. Nearly drop time again, the blurry ones!

Oh the picture by the way...on way from hospital as I changed buses at canning circus, I spotted this graffiti up some steps! Very impressive of the council house!
