Floribunda rose

Book production is on hold for a couple of days while the author returns from the Lake District, thus enabling Christmas card production to resume in earnest this end.

To give my back a bit of a rest I’ve just walked up the road to check on the house belonging to our very oldest friends, who are away on holiday. (We let ourselves in to their lobby and pick up their post and pop it into a carrier bag out of sight.) 

As I left I took this snap of some glorious rose blooms in their front garden.
