To da dump, to da dump, to da dump, dump, dump!
It should be worrying when I can't remember what I was doing this morning! Probably something on the computer - Photo Club, u3a, whatever! I think it was Photo Club - we were discussing how to get the prints for the next competition to and from a judge who suffers from sciatica and would rather stay at home.
This afternoon I put a bulk bag in the boot of the car and stuffed it full of prunings to take to the dump - my Blip today. It's only a couple of miles out of town, but I picked a bad time as the town was mobbed - school pick-ups maybe. When I finally got back I just had time to do another one - my extra today - so that's everything for now. I hope the garden waste gets composted - I don’t know.
I’ll have another pruning session some another time. My cherry tree needs a few more branches lifting and various laurels are getting out of hand - our road isn’t called Laurel Road for nothing!
Quote of the Day: 'Never, ever rest on your laurels. Today's laurels are tomorrow's compost.' - Tom Peters.
