Today was dull outdoors, so it was good that A walked Django before she left for a night away. I work hard on a HiGHS utility that will be useful for PhD student Y and my Year 4 student, as well as many other students and researchers. In the background we were accepted for inclusion in Google's optimization software system - they've wanted HiGHS for a few years - and we began discussing adding HiGHS to another mathematical software system. I also sent a stern email to the collaborator who "stood up" PhD student J on Tuesday.

Eventually I got tired and took a break to walk Django, but it was already dark, and the clocks go back this weekend.
