The Bore Stone

SWMBO and I headed into town this morning to see if the camera shop was interested in any of the photographic 'stuff' that was languishing in the loft.
On route we encountered a very objectionable cyclist. He cycled through a red light causing the elderly pedestrians to have to stop. Then he swerved towards my car as I passed him so that he could bang on the roof claiming I was too close. He really wasn't happy when I slowed down slightly so that he had to stop behind the parked car.

The man in the camera shop didn't take as much as I had hoped, but the charity shop across the road was more than happy to take everything even though I told them a lot of it wasn't the type of stuff they took.
I will find out in a couple of weeks how much I am getting from the camera shop once everything has been checked.

The picture was next to where we parked. The story is on the plaque below it. I wonder how many people actually see it. Not one person I saw even gave it a glance ... even those who were obviously tourists.

On the way home we took a slight diversion so SWMBO could see the new mural in Colinton Village (there are another couple of closer details following that shot) - done by the same artist who did The Colinton Tunnel.
