Green light, going nowhere

Pretty dismal day weatherwise: strong winds, rain, rain, rain and traffic jammed as a result of a) weather b) long weekend approaching c) cycle and bus lanes. The latter is a subject best not mentioned to Wellingtonians....it is the source of a great deal of contention. The government has just announced that they are putting in a Crown Observer to deal with the city council. It's a mess.
