Baby quilt in the making

We have a new great niece and I have had a productive day today working on a quilt for her. It has been rainy and windy, just the right sort of day for an audiobook through my new earbuds (listening to The Fox Wife, which I am enjoying very much) and sewing.
It is so nasty outside there was no point in attempting any housework. What a blessing!
