The bees are still busy on Susan’s dahlias

The fine sunny days ended with overcast and later wet weather which ended with a brief diffused red sunset. Very mild again, 16c, and the summer bedding is still going strong. There’s plenty of nasturtiums and the tomatoes continue to ripen in the greenhouse. I picked 11 yesterday.

A morning of trips, to the charity shop and to the tip as the clearance we started on Thursday continues.

I’ve felt so much better today, just a bit of a cough. I’ve no idea what to make of the infection. I can only think it was a reaction to one or other of the jabs.

We did go out in the gloom this afternoon for a perambulation of Mote Park, getting caught out in the rain towards the end.
