Bejewelled nasturtium

Even though the weather was dull and unpromising Susan’s nasturtiums are still doing well and look fabulous scattered with jewels of droplets and the colour intense and vibrant.

Most of the morning was taken up by walking to Marks and Spencer’s and back via Costa for almost the last of the free coffees from our gift card.

Most of the afternoon was spent on housekeeping duties. There were two nice intermissions when we talked to Chris, Landon and Maddy in California. A lovely chat with all of them. The second was with David, Susan’s brother in law about planning to sell Doreen’s house and our own plans for next year.

It’s Saturday night and regular readers of this column will know what that means. Have a good evening. Clocks go back tonight.
