Misty Blue

The Church on Bled Island. I did say you might see this scene again. This was taken this morning at just about 6am. Our group was first down onto the boardwalk and took prime position. Over the next 20 minutes there must have been at least 50 photographers lined up along the boardwalk. It was fairly misty and wonderfully atmospheric and I hope that comes through in this photograph.

After breakfast we stopped at several locations as we made our way through Italy at Lago de Predi where we stopped for coffee and back into Slovenia for Slap Virje (extra 1) and onto Soca valley and finishing at Mangert Pass (extra 2)  for sunset (which didn't really happen). 

Why Italy? Because there are road closures on weekdays as repairs are going on lower down on the Mangert Pass which is the highest road in Slovenia and a spaghetti bowl of switchback roads.

A long day but very enjoyable.
