A Man on the Moon
I’ve wanted these books for three years. Every time I’ve saved up the money I tended to end up buying camera gear!!! Now I’d saved the money it was either going on a Dwarf lab 3 telescope or the books. The Dwarf lab 3 isn’t out properly yet so I’m waiting to see what the reviews are like etc and so the books were next on my list. Omg they are so beautiful. You can only buy them from The Folio Society and I felt it rude not to get another one in the natural history range called the planets which is written by Andrew Cohen and Brian Cox.
The forward on the Moon books is by Tom Hanks as he starred in the Apollo 13 film. I feel the need to read them with white gloves on as they were so expensive. So with this in mind and the new conservatory still a work in progress we decided on a bookcase as I have so many books now and all hard back scientific type books which need a good home.
I had planned on a flat packed bookcase from Dunelm but it didn’t really cut it so we ended up in A Touch of Furniture closing down sale and have purchased a very tall immensely heavy Oak bookcase!
When that comes it’ll have to stand in the middle of the room until it’s been decorated and I dread to think how we are going to move it into its proper place once all the work is finished!
But it’ll be a mini library and a hub of knowledge!!!
Can’t wait for it all to come together.
