I asked for my photo to be taken

I think this is my delayed birthday meal. Steak medallions “cooked as rare as the chief dares”, yes I said that!!! Then Raspberry Eton Mess. It was delicious. Incredibly much better than most places I’ve eaten at in the last 3-4 years. A gem.

I’ve had a very draining week which felt dream like. Glad my X-ray was done now feels like I’m waiting ages for the results. My ribs still hurt. I really hope I can understand why I’m hurting in my rib area so much. It’s been a while now.

The weekend is here and this evening I’m at a pub called The Thames Head which is close to the source of the Thames. MrH had to return a hire car as he arrived back from Indore on Thursday. Today after work I had to drive after him to town and then pick him up. We decided to have food in a pub nearby as we visit that pub maybe once a year and the food is as always good.

A man sat behind me was discussing how you can’t buy UK grown blackcurrant cordial apparently. I’ll have to fact check that later!!
