Autumn continues

I had a surprise early release today. The kids got out early and then we had a staff meeting. The teachers were going to start parent/teacher conferences and those of us not involved got to leave at 1:00. It was really nice since I was planning on meeting Mom at 3:15 for a drink. I got to the grocery and met her at 2:15, just after she got off from her shift at the bookstore.
I came home and wandered over to the park to dump my compost offerings and snapped a picture of the lake filled with ducks. The weekend will be nice but it does (fingers crossed) look like some snow next Tuesday into Wednesday. The weather has to get lousy in time for Halloween...lol.
