Dogwood flowering …..

….. ….. ….. and fresh snow on the Remarkables.
We didn’t get snow lying down here, but it was in the air. There’s more forecast for tonight. It’s very late but then, we do live in the mountains, and this sort of thing does happen in the mountains.

It’s been a cold dreich sort of day but we did get out for a couple of walks. The best thing was having a long get together with my visiting Auckland granddaughter, talking about lots of stuff that matters. It was brilliant. I’m chuffed that she’s happy spending time with me too.
