Nerines

It has been a day of unpacking and laundry, and sorting out 7 weeks' post. However, I've  managed to tick off a number of items on my very long to-do list.
Had a long catch-up phone call with my sister, C, in Cornwall. 
I was delighted to find our pot of Nerines is in flower. The foliage was  severely attacked by slugs  throughout  the summer but somehow the flower buds developed and have survived to come into bloom.
