Canal Bridge reflections.

An excellent journey back via the M5 and M42..Amazingly enough the traffic was running smoothly. First time ever approaching Bristol, (for those who know the route) that we just passed by and onwards without any holdups whatsoever. It is a real bottleneck at the best of times.
We decided to have our usual Saturday pub lunch before going straight home after leaving the M42.
This particular pub is near a humped back canal bridge. I went to take a photo as I loved the light through the trees and the reflections in the water..
It was a kind of fitting way to finish our week’s holiday.
As soon as we were back indoors and unpacked, the washing went straight into the machine. One lot already out on the line.
The second lot will be hung out first thing in the morning.
It was such a beautifully sunny day driving back, except when approaching the Birmingham conurbation where the skies were clouded over.
By early afternoon however the sun broke through here too.
Looking at the trees, an awful lot more leaves have fallen this past week.
Our miniature Weeping Cherry is totally denuded!
Almost teatime.
I’ll be looking at blips at some point.
Have a good weekend!
And the clocks go back an hour tonight!
