Slept...

What a relief.. I slept.. no horrid dreams... result!!  On the other hand MrS lay awake going over and over the horrid conversation that took place yesterday.  So, that is now two restless nights thanks to the 'thoughtless one' so we will now move on. What's the saying?.. don't lose sleep over it? 

I set the alarm to wake me just incase (at 9) and luckily it woke me as I had arranged to meet a friend at the local farmers market to have a coffee and to wish her happy birthday in person (for yesterday). It was a misty damp morning but as always a great turn out for the market. We had a very happy time nattering and catching up and she enjoyed her little present of a pottery bird feeder/bath in the shape of a hollow acorn. 
I came home and baked an Orange and almond cake to take to lunch with friends tomorrow. As there won't be 10 of us I decided to split the recipe into a few tins so that we could have treats at home afterwards!  Such a delicious cake and easy to have in the house at any time :)

Just realised the clocks go back tonight... so that's that then.. hmm.. an thankfully we shouldn't be late for lunch tomorrow!
