Back in the big smoke

Actually, there was fire, but no smoke. They were painting the roads with this and the contraption was very dangerous-looking.

Back to work. Absolutely boiling.

Then in the evening, went to Vanilla and Black with my family, it's a really cool vegetarian restaurant. Made me think of Heston Blumenthal. Exciting food, and tasty - I'd definitely recommend it!

I even had episode 1 of the second series of Suburgatory (finally!!) waiting for me when I got home but saved that for the weekend as I was pooped!
